Chequers Jewels is committed to upholding high standards of practice in the sale of good quality jewellery. A purchase from us can be made with complete confidence.

Terms of sale

Online Purchases only – In the unlikely event you are not happy with your purchase, we will gladly issue a refund (excluding carriage costs). The item must be returned within 14 days of purchase in the same condition as it left us. We will not accept any returns/refunds on items that have been altered or damaged.

The refund will be issued upon return of the item(s).

If you cancel your purchase (within the 14 days) before delivery, a full refund will be issued.

Deliveries & Insurance

Delivery can be arranged, and an item is usually dispatched within three working days for UK deliveries, and five working days for overseas deliveries. Items are fully insured while in transit. The insurance covers the period of transit and expires once you have taken delivery of the goods. 

Invoices

All items must be paid for in full before delivery. Late payments will result in reminder invoices and, if still unpaid after 30 days of the invoice date, the invoice will be passed onto a debt collecting agency. Any additional costs that this incurs will be paid for by the debtor, and compensation will be sought after, according to current late payment legislation.
